IECD had its first Childminders’ general meeting for this year on Saturday 15th February. As is customary, the meeting was concentrated on information sharing by the CEO and staff of the Institute to the Childminders. The focal points shared were based on the upcoming Professional Development sessions for this year alongside its associated logistics.
The Childminders were privileged to further learn about the Seychelles Pension Fund, more specifically on how to make contribution plus itsconnected benefits. This was through a presentation by a representative from Seychelles Pension Fund.
The highlight which has been much awaited and appreciated, was the announcement by the CEO, of the increment in the monthly financial subsidy to all registered Childminders, which has taken effect this year.
