International delegates for IECD’s inauguration as Category 2 Centre under the auspices of UNESCO on 27th October, have begun to arrive in the country.
Four of them including Board member of the Centre toured IECD’s new offices at Fairview House Perseverance. The offices are still being equipped and furbished ahead of the staffs move next month.
The delegates were also taken to a plot of land two throw stones away from IECD offices, where the new IECD House will be built soon.
They were accompanied by the Chairperson of IECD Board Captain David Savy, the CEO Mrs. Shirley Choppy as well as some members of staff.
The delegation described IECD’s achievements as a great milestone for Seychelles children and also those of the region.
IECD’s inauguration will take place at Eden Bleu Hotel on Friday 27th October.
